The current situation seen by Paul Blanc

"Despite health improvements in the overall Covid-19 situation in most of Europe, the long term and indirect impacts of the pandemic on the global supply chain are affecting all industries. During this time, I would like to reach out publicly on how we are approaching the situation at Jeanneau.

For a few weeks now, the pandemic has generated a congestion in logistics and a global strain on the supply chain.

A number of parts and components reach our factories with delays. This particularly concerns engines, generators, compressors, electronic equipment using semi-conductors, as well as designed metal parts.

Our purchasing and production teams are working hard to find alternative sourcing and retrofit components so production continues.

Despite our efforts to cope with this exceptional situation, these unexpected disruptions create delays in shipping the boats to our dealers.

We understand that our clients are looking forward to enjoying unique moments with their family and friends on the water. That is why we are regularly updating our dealers with the most accurate information on expected deliveries of boats.

We understand that the wait can be frustrating and we hope our clients can accept our sincere apologies. Thanks to all of them for their patience and loyalty, we are confident their patience will soon be rewarded by great moments onboard a new Jeanneau."
