A Passion for Sailing

B&G has been at the cutting edge of sailing innovation for more than 60 years. Our racing heritage gives us an unrivalled platform for developing new technology, which is put through its paces by the world’s best, in the most challenging conditions.

B&G has provided Jeanneau with the best of its racing technology and know-how to offer a complete, high-performance system, capable of meeting the needs of racing sailors. Where every tenth of a knot of speed or degree of wind angle is the difference between winning and losing, the sailing electronics can play a key role. The system designed for the new Sun Fast 30 One Design boats integrates the best of B&G's sailing equipment, and in particular:

Zeus® S --> With its unique sailing features, Zeus® S is the next generation chartplotter, giving the sailor all the information needed, in an easy-to-interpret way.
H5000 --> The H5000 system provides high performance, unique sailing capabilities through powerful instruments and displays. The record-breaking B&G H5000 Pilot features dedicated sailing algorithms and steering modes - Gust Response, Recovery and High-Wind Response. It has been proven in the toughest of conditions and the most testing environments and is ideal for short-handed cruisers or racers.

Triton™ Edge --> With Triton™ Edge, the brand-new B&G sailing processor that allows Sun Fast 30 One Design sailors to enhance and control all sailing data, sailors will be able to maximize the performance of the sailing system. The Triton Edge Sailing Processor delivers an enhanced and more accurate suite of sailing data to the Zeus® S Chartplotter, allowing for increased control and access of all information on and off the yacht, via App integration and Web browser control.

Voiles de l'espoir

Every two years since 2001, with the association, “Les Voiles de l’Espoir,” the Table Ronde Française organizes a sailing week for children whose cancer or leukaemia is in remission.

This is the largest French nautical event organised for children from 8 to 14 years old, allowing them to participate in an unforgettable adventure, to get away and enjoy, in a safe environment, a week of activities organised just for them.

Voiles de l’Espoir gives priority to the human relationship with these kids who have battled disease. This event actually begins several months before its programmed start with meeting the children and their families, and its impact extends far beyond the cruise.

The sailing school, UCPA Croisières, is an association that accompanies you in your progress and plans, whether for personal discovery, for purchase, or for charter.

Become autonomous and learn to sail safely, responsibly, with the right reflexes and best practices, so that your outings at sea will always be unforgettable successes.

In France and internationally, some fifteen departure sites are also adapted for learning about the preservation of the marine environment, in a spirit of sharing, while ensuring the well-being and personal fulfilment of every participant.

With UCPA Croisières, you can also:

  • Have your competence level validated and recognized through our partnership with the French Sailing Federation, the FFVoile;
  • Become a sailing instructor by attaining an official diploma;
  • Starting at 11 years old, youth can learn to sail through specially adapted programs, and perhaps become a captain one day;
  • Privatise your boat for multiple days with family or friends;
  • Offer these programmes to your employee union;
  • Benefit from personalised coaching on a specific point, or simply refresh your knowledge before cruising.

Voiles sans frontières

Its concept is based on the awareness of the North/South disparities in the maritime world.

With the aim of making these populations independent, Voiles Sans Frontières is acting on 3 fronts:

  • The realization of health and sanitation as well as educational projects in favour of secluded populations who are accessible only by maritime and fluvial waterways;
  • A social and cultural role in France and in all the countries where they are present: providing awareness, development, education, and health education programs for schools and for concerned populations;
  • Sharing and contributing to local knowledge regarding large boats, and helping emerging countries by realizing projects for the well being of vulnerable populations.

Voiles d'arcachon

Every two years, Voiles d’Arcachon organises a week of activities on the water for children whose cancer or leukaemia is in remission. These activities take place on more than 25 sailboats within the framework of the larger sailing event, known as the “18 hrs. d’Arcachon.”

After long months spent protected in a glass bubble, isolated from the world, these children come from the transplant centres of French university hospitals to regain a taste for living. This association aims to give several days of pure joy to over forty children, from 7 to 15 years old.
